Supporting Mental Health

As part of our whole school ethos, we are committed to supporting all children and parents throughout their time at Dallimore.

We realise that we face many challenges both at home and at school, and it is important that we are able to work alongside parents in order to identify anyone who might need some support.

In the main we support children through our Thrive provision, but there are times when we complete referrals to external agencies.

Below is some information about some of the organisations we use, what services they offer and links to websites and info.

If you are worried about your child's mental health (either at home or at school) please contact a member of staff at school or email concerns@dallimore.derbyshire.sch.uk

Our Mental Health Leads in school are Miss Katie Reynolds and Mrs Lucie Frost. They are supported by the Mental Health Ambassadors (children from across school), other Thrive practitioners and the Safeguarding Team.

Each year we participate in Children's Mental Health Week.
