Through effective implementation, we ensure that children know and remember more and understand how valuable this is in terms of developing children's ability to utilise their background knowledge in reading and writing. 

We know that it is essential that children master the core curriculum. By providing a high-quality education, we will ensure that children are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills they need for later success. Reading, writing and maths are taught daily in school whilst science and computing are taught weekly. Regularly revisiting key aspects of learning ensure that children become fluent in reading, writing and maths and that learning is transferred into the long-term memory.
